Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answer
What do I need to know before booking at Squats Que?
Squats Que is a multi-sport venue in Dilshad Garden, East Delhi with box cricket, football turf, pickleball and indoor badminton. Grounds are hired by the hour, 24 hours a day. Book by WhatsApp on +91 92588 67057, pay at the ground, and expect no coaching or classes — court time only.
Booking, rates and cancelling
The three things people ask before they message us.
Send a WhatsApp message to +91 92588 67057 with your sport, date and preferred time. We check availability and confirm your slot in the same chat. You can also call the same number. There is no online payment step — the booking is settled at the ground.
Rates vary by sport, slot timing and duration, so we quote them directly rather than publishing a fixed list that would quickly go stale. Message us on WhatsApp with your sport, date and time and we will send you the rate for that specific slot.
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp as early as you reasonably can and we will reschedule you or release the slot. We deal with this case by case rather than applying a rigid notice period — talk to us and we will sort it out.
The grounds, equipment and coaching
Including the one we answer in the negative, because being clear about it saves people a trip.
Four. Box cricket on an enclosed floodlit turf for 20 to 22 players, football on artificial turf in 7v7 and 11v11 formats, pickleball on a dedicated regulation-size court, and badminton on indoor courts. All four are in the same Dilshad Garden facility.
Equipment can be arranged on request for most sports. Mention what you need when you message us and we will confirm what is available for your slot. Plenty of regulars bring their own bats, racquets and paddles.
No. Squats Que is a venue — we hire out grounds and courts by the hour. We do not run coaching, classes, academies or camps for any sport.
Flat-soled or turf shoes work best on artificial turf. Metal spikes are not permitted because they tear the surface. For the indoor badminton courts, non-marking soles are required.
Hours, finding us, children and groups
Squats Que is open 24 hours a day, all seven days of the week. Early-morning and post-midnight slots are genuinely bookable, not just theoretical — floodlights run through the night on every ground.
Facility Center, Badrinath Mandir Road, Pocket B, Block B, Block F, Dilshad Garden, Delhi 110095 — near the DTC terminal and Arwachin International School. The nearest metro is Dilshad Garden on the Red Line.
Yes, under-18s are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian who stays for the session. Since we do not run coaching or supervised programmes, a responsible adult needs to be present with younger players.
Yes — corporate matches, box cricket tournaments, league fixtures, birthday bookings and private group bookings. Message us with your format, rough number of players and preferred dates and we will work out the arrangement.
Questions about a specific sport
Formats, dimensions, surfaces and kit — grouped by ground, with a link to the full page for each.
Box Cricket
The turf comfortably takes 20 to 22 players, which is enough for two full teams rather than a six-a-side knockabout. Smaller groups book it too — the ground does not change size, so a squad of ten simply has more room to work with.
Yes. It is netted on all sides, so the ball stays inside the playing area for the whole session. Nobody spends the evening retrieving it from the road, and shots that would be lost on an open field stay live.
Yes. The ground is fully floodlit and open 24 hours a day, every day. A 10 PM or 2 AM game plays exactly the same as a midday one, which is why late slots are genuinely popular here rather than just theoretically available.
Equipment can be arranged on request — mention it when you message us and we will confirm what is available for your slot. Many regulars bring their own bats and prefer a specific ball, so both options work.

Football Turf
Yes. The pitch is laid out for 7v7 and scales to a full 11v11, which is unusual for turf grounds in Delhi — most cap out at five-a-side. That means you can run a real match rather than a scaled-down version of one.
Artificial grass with a shock-absorbing base. It drains through the monsoon, stays playable in Delhi summer heat, and is considerably kinder on knees and ankles than concrete or a worn dirt pitch.
Flat-soled or turf-specific shoes. Metal studs are not permitted because they tear the synthetic surface. Standard moulded football boots are generally fine — if you are unsure, ask us when you book.
Yes. Message us with your format, the number of teams and your preferred dates, and we will work out a schedule. Recurring weekly fixtures and multi-day tournaments are both arrangements we handle regularly.

Pickleball
Squats Que in Dilshad Garden, East Delhi has a dedicated regulation-size pickleball court. Delhi has very few purpose-built courts, so most players end up improvising on badminton or tennis courts — which is not the same game.
Paddles and balls can be arranged on request. Mention it when you message us and we will confirm availability for your slot. If you already own a paddle you are welcome to bring it.
No — most people are rallying within a few minutes of picking up a paddle, which is a large part of why the sport has grown so fast. We do not run coaching or lessons, but the rules are simple enough to learn on court.
Both work. The court suits singles and doubles, so two players is enough for a full session. Doubles is the more common format and is what most groups here book.

Badminton
Yes, fully indoor. That matters more for badminton than for almost any other sport — even a light breeze makes a shuttle unplayable, so an enclosed court is the difference between a real game and a frustrating one.
Standard BWF dimensions with full markings: 13.4 metres long, 6.1 metres wide for doubles and 5.18 metres for singles. The flooring is synthetic and the lighting is anti-glare, positioned for overhead play.
Equipment can be arranged on request — mention what you need when you message us. Most regular players bring their own racquet and prefer a particular shuttle grade, so both options are available.
Yes. The courts are open 24 hours a day, all seven days, so 5 AM and 6 AM slots are genuinely bookable. Because the courts are indoor and lit, early-morning play is unaffected by fog or low light.
No. Squats Que hires out courts by the hour — we do not run coaching, classes, academy programmes or camps. If you are looking for lessons rather than court time, we are not the right fit.
