Why the place is shaped the way it is
Getting a game together in Delhi is rarely a problem of enthusiasm. It is a problem of logistics: the ground that takes twenty players is on the other side of the city, the turf near you is a five-a-side cage, the badminton court is outdoors and the wind has ruined the evening, and everything closes at eleven just as the group finally assembles.
So this site was laid out to remove those four excuses at once. The cricket turf is netted on every side and takes a full 20 to 22 players. The football pitch is marked for 7v7 and scales to 11v11 rather than capping out at five-a-side. The badminton courts are indoors, which for that sport is not a luxury but the difference between a game and a frustration. And the gate does not close, so the hour your group can actually make is a bookable hour.
The pickleball court is the one addition that is not solving an old problem. It exists because the sport is growing faster than anywhere in Delhi is building for it, and improvising on a badminton court is not the same game.
