Who this policy is from
This policy covers this website and the bookings made through it. "We" means Squats Que, a sports ground and court facility operating at Facility Center, Badrinath Mandir Rd, Pocket B, Block B, Block F, Near DTC Terminal & Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden, Delhi 110095. Squats Que is a trade name, not a registered company, and there is one facility — there is no branch network and no other address.
The short version
- This website has no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies of any kind.
- Nothing you type into a form on this site is sent to or stored on this website. Both forms hand what you typed to WhatsApp instead.
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing, and we do not run an email list.
- Two third parties do receive your IP address when a page loads: Google Fonts and the Google Maps embed. Both are described below.
- The only thing written to your device is your light or dark theme choice, kept in your own browser.
Booking by WhatsApp or phone
Almost every booking here starts as a WhatsApp message or a phone call. When you message or call us, we see and keep what you would expect: your phone number, your WhatsApp display name if you have one, and the content of what you send us — the sport, the date, the hour and anything else you tell us about the booking.
We use that only to answer you, hold the slot and recognise you if you book again. It is not added to a marketing list, and we do not send promotional messages to numbers that have only ever enquired about a slot.
WhatsApp itself is operated by Meta, not by us. Once your message leaves your phone it is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms, which we have no control over. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, call the number instead, or email us — both reach the same people.
The forms on this site
There are two: the slot builder that appears on most pages, and the enquiry form on the contact page. Neither one submits anything to this website. Both are handled entirely inside your browser — the page takes what you selected or typed, writes it into a WhatsApp message, and opens WhatsApp with that message ready for you to read and send.
That has a consequence worth being clear about: until you press send in WhatsApp, nobody has your details, not even us. And because nothing is posted to a server, there is no database of abandoned enquiries on this site to leak, request a copy of, or ask us to delete.
What is stored on your device
One thing: whether you chose the light or the dark version of the site. It is saved in your browser's local storage under the name squats_que_theme, so the site does not flash the wrong colours at you on your next visit.
It is not a cookie, it is never transmitted anywhere, it contains no identifier, and clearing your browser's site data removes it. This site sets no cookies of its own. WordPress itself sets cookies only for logged-in administrators, which will not include you unless you run the site.
Third parties your browser contacts
Two, both Google, and both worth knowing about because your browser talks to them directly — which means Google receives your IP address and basic request information even though we never see it.
Google Fonts
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google's font servers on every page view. Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. We use it because self-hosting the fonts is slower for most visitors in India, but it is a real third-party request and you are entitled to know it happens.
Google Maps
The map showing where the ground is, near the bottom of most pages, is an embedded Google Maps frame. It loads lazily — if you never scroll to it, it is never requested. When it does load, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies in your browser. That is Google's processing under Google's privacy policy, not ours.
What is deliberately not here
No Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta or Facebook pixel, no advertising or remarketing tags, no heatmap or session-recording tool, no chat widget, no consent-management platform, and no embedded social feeds. If you inspect the network requests on this page you should see this site, Google's fonts, and — if you scrolled that far — the map. Nothing else.
Blog comments
If commenting is open on a blog post and you leave a comment, WordPress stores what you submitted along with your IP address and browser user-agent string, which is standard WordPress behaviour and is used for spam filtering. Comments and their details stay until we remove them. If you want a comment and its details deleted, email us and we will do it.
Server logs
Like every website, this one runs on a hosting service that keeps access logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser string. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors; they exist so the host can keep the server running and investigate abuse. They are held and discarded on the host's schedule, not ours.
How long anything is kept
- WhatsApp conversations and call records: kept while they are useful for handling your bookings, and removable on request.
- Emails: kept in our inbox unless you ask us to delete the thread.
- Form entries: nothing to keep, because nothing is submitted to this site.
- Theme preference: on your device only, until you clear your browser data.
Your rights, and how to use them
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to erase it. You can also withdraw consent for us to hold it at all. Because what we hold is almost always a WhatsApp thread or an email, acting on any of these is usually straightforward.
To make a request, email squatsque@gmail.com or message +91 92588 67057 and say what you want done. We will not ask you to prove identity beyond confirming you control the number or email address the information is attached to. There is no charge, and we will not treat a deletion request as a reason to refuse you a booking later.
Children
Under-18s are welcome to play here when a parent or guardian is present for the session, but bookings should be made by an adult. This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 — if a child has messaged us, tell us and we will delete the conversation.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts using something that collects data — an analytics tool, a booking system, a chat widget — this page gets updated before that thing goes live, and the date at the top changes with it. We will not add a tracker quietly and leave this page claiming there are none.
Contact and grievances
Questions about this policy, or a complaint about how your information has been handled, go to squatsque@gmail.com or +91 92588 67057. There is no separate legal department to route you through — the same people who take your booking read that inbox. Postal address: Facility Center, Badrinath Mandir Rd, Pocket B, Block B, Block F, Near DTC Terminal & Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden, Delhi 110095.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a complaint, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
